1. Who we are
Bible Chat is operated by Tagsy AI, based in Cyprus, the controller of your personal data. Contact: support@tagsy.ai.
2. What we collect
- Instagram identifiers: your Instagram user ID, username and public profile name provided by Instagram when you message us.
- Message content: the messages you send and the replies generated.
- Conversation memory: summaries or notes derived from your conversations so the Service can continue where you left off.
- Subscription data: plan, status, trial and renewal dates. Card details are collected by Paddle; we do not receive full payment card numbers.
- Support messages: anything you send to our support email.
3. Sensitive information
Conversations may reveal religious beliefs, health or other sensitive matters, which are special-category data under the GDPR. We process this only to provide the conversation you request, based on your explicit choice to share it, and never for advertising. Please avoid sharing information you don't want processed.
4. How we use it
- To generate responses and maintain conversation memory (performance of our contract with you).
- To manage free usage limits, subscriptions and access to premium features.
- To provide support, prevent abuse and keep the Service secure (legitimate interests).
- To meet legal and tax obligations.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. Service providers
- Meta / Instagram — delivers messages between you and the Service.
- Zernio — Instagram messaging integration that relays messages to our systems.
- AI model providers — process message content to generate responses.
- Supabase — database hosting for conversation and account data.
- Paddle — Merchant of Record; processes payments, taxes, invoices and refunds under its own privacy policy.
- RevenueCat — manages subscription status and entitlements.
6. International transfers
Some providers process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
7. Retention
We keep conversation data while you use the Service and delete or anonymise it when you ask us to, or after a period of inactivity. Billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting laws require.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent. Email support@tagsy.ai with your Instagram username. You may also complain to your data protection authority (in Cyprus, the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection).
9. Cookies
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Paddle's checkout may set cookies needed to complete payment.
10. Children
The Service is not intended for children under 13.
11. Changes
We will post updates to this policy here with a new “last updated” date.
